About

Product: Woven Products

In the suco of Makili there is also another homan group called Haburas Homan, which has been established for a long time. As with other groups, the Haburas homan group was created with the aim of continuing the tradition left by the grandparents and to sell products so that money could be used for the needs of the house such as purchasing food and paying for children’s school. This group produces products used for horticultural activities as baskets to put out the results of horticultural work and sometimes to put food, as well as baskets with a lid that are specific to the suco of Makili, which are used to put cultural assets when going to negotiate the dowry.
