The Emanuel group has a total of 8 members (all women) who meet each other almost every day to do their activities. The name Emanuel is taken from the Bible as ” God is with us.” The groups chose this name because they were always involved in church activities and also as an expression of the faith of the Uaro-Ana community in God.

The Emanuel group is led by Germina de Sousa, head of the group, Fatima Gusmao, secretary and Maria Martins Lemos Treasurer.
The products produced by the group are mats, baskets, place mats, boxes, bags and so on.
The group is located in the village of Uaro-Ana, Bikeli, Atauro and can be accessed it by transports such as motorcycle and car or by local boats because it is near the beach or by telephone.
