Identifying Artisans
Until now there was no database where tourists, government, and NGOs could find the contacts, products and story of the our artisans.
ED interviewed 160 artisans , photographed their products, and create an unique QR code for each group.
So, our first step was to find and identify existing artisans, make connections, photograph their work, and interview them to collect their stories.
Initial stage: ED started in Dili, Likisá, Manatuto and Atauro.
In the future www.artezanatu.tl will include all of our beautiful Timor-Leste.

Artezanatu.tl promotes their stories, work and handicrafts in-country and worldwide.
Visitors can find the artisans also from this map in English or Tetum
Just by clicking in the municipality visitors will find the profiles artisans living there.

The promotion of artisans and their products at artezanatu.tl benefits from the experience of ED in promoting local artisans and their products.
