Numeracy
A training much needed for grassroots artisans, whom usually lack basic numeracy skills, to prosper in their livelihoods.
In the past seven years or so, it has been delivered many times by Empreza Diak training unit across Timor-Leste and perfected in the process. The training manual includes exercises that help participants learn how to write and sign their name and recognize numbers and develop the competency to make basic calculation key to handle money (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) – and how to use calculator. Based on our experience, participants perform differently and therefore this module includes exercises on numeracy and literacy with different level of difficulties.
