Product: Products made of Tais

Tais holds immense cultural significance in Timor and is deeply intertwined with the lives of Timorese people. Beyond its cultural value, Tais plays a pivotal role in ceremonial events, traditional festivities, and even as a form of recognition. Within the Linda Hadomi Kultura group, Tais serves as a versatile medium, enabling the creation of a wide array of products. This diversification not only promotes Tais but also generates income for the group.

Remarkably, the women of this group possess expert sewing skills, acquired through dedicated training. Their craftsmanship is showcased in the meticulous creation of Tais bags, hats, clothing, and various other items. By skillfully blending tradition with innovation, these women contribute to the preservation of Tais heritage while meeting the contemporary demands of their customers. Through their creative endeavors, they not only empower themselves but also contribute to the economic sustainability of their group.
